Locate A Nearby Free Public Hotspot With The Facebook WiFi Discovery Feature

Facebook has introduced a new feature to its app which allows users find free public WiFi networks from within the App. Facebook has evolved over time and has proven to really be the giant of social networking.

This feature is currently available for iOS users and in a few countries, but should be available worldwide soon. One interesting thing about this feature is that it suggests locations where users can access free WiFi networks.

How To Access it on iOS
>>Update your Facebook App to the latest
>> scroll the menu option to locate the “Enable Find Wi-Fi.” Toggle the settings so its turn on and the app will automatically detect the nearby free Wi-Fi.

NB: For this feature to work properly, you have to activate location on the smartphone.

Other amazing Facebook features includes

*Marketplace

Ads can be posted in either available or wanted format. The market place is available for all Facebook users and is currently free. This Feature is also known as 'Buy and Sell Items'.

*Notes
Facebook Notes was introduced on August 22, 2006, a blogging feature that allowed tags and embeddable images. Users were later able to import blogs from Xanga, LiveJournal, Blogger, and other blogging services.

*Places
Facebook announced Places on August 18, 2010. It is a feature that lets users "check in" to Facebook using a mobile device to let a user's friends know where they are at the moment.
